More about this product
Why we chose it
Eastern larch (Larix laricina) is the most underused hardwood in cutting board production — naturally antimicrobial resin content, tight end-grain structure gentle on knife edges, density comparable to hard maple. Cape Breton Island has been making these boards since 1985. Pre-finished with a beeswax and hemp oil conditioner. The species is the differentiator.
