Do you sell these products?
No. nontoxicnook is an independent buyer's guide, not a retailer. Nothing is sold, stocked, or fulfilled here. Every product page has "Buy on …" links that send you to the brand or retailer that actually sells the item.
Do you accept paid placements?
No. Brands cannot pay to be listed. The criteria on the Our Promise page determine every listing.
How do you evaluate products?
Every product is vetted against a published checklist of materials and ingredients. Brands without full disclosure are not listed. See the Our Promise and Editorial Policy pages for the full process.
How do you make money?
Affiliate commissions when readers buy through outbound links to merchants. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive via nontoxicnook or directly. Listings are not gated on whether an affiliate program is available — see the Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture.
What happens if a product changes formulation?
Listings are re-verified periodically. Products are de-listed if a formulation no longer meets the published criteria. See the Editorial Policy §"Verification and freshness."
Is "non-toxic" a regulated term?
No — see the Disclaimer. When we use "non-toxic" on nontoxicnook, we mean the product meets the published criteria on Our Promise. Always check the current manufacturer's label before purchase or use.
What do you do with my data?
