Why we chose it
Pure copper mesh with no steel content and no added coating. Copper is naturally antimicrobially active, so the brand adds no biocide treatment. Steel wool rusts and can leave iron particles on cookware; copper does not. The 2-pack format has been sold in hardware stores since 1921 under the same material specification.
