Why we chose it
Cultiver's linen is the only non-cotton option in this guide. The flax is grown in Western Europe under the European Flax certification — traceable cultivation in France and Belgium. The stonewashing process uses physical abrasion, not aldehyde-based softeners that most manufacturers use. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 covers the finished textile. At 165gsm, it's substantial enough for year-round use. Linen is inherently temperature-regulating and naturally resistant to dust mites without chemical treatment.
