## Why we chose it

This set pairs a 6.5-inch heavy-duty cleaver with a 6.5-inch French-style knife, both hand-forged from carbon steel in a Thai village by family co-operatives with dedicated workers for each stage. Traditional wood handles with brass rivets — no synthetic adhesives or handle materials used. Carbon steel develops a natural patina over time and requires simple oil maintenance after washing. A straightforward, no-coating, no-plastic chemistry throughout.
