## Why we chose it

Made from 18/10 stainless steel by Sambonet, an Italian cutlery manufacturer. The 18/10 grade (18% chromium, 10% nickel) is the same alloy used in professional restaurant serveware — corrosion-resistant and non-reactive with food. No coatings, plating, or non-stick treatments on any surface. The gold finish is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) titanium nitride coating, which is inert and does not leach.
