## Why we chose it

The SK03 is hand-forged and oil-quenched to 57±1 HRC — a functional workhorse hardness that balances sharpness with chip resistance. The 13° edge per side is notably acute for a mid-priced knife. The handle is carbonized (thermally treated) ash wood — naturally darkened and hardened through heat without synthetic resins, triple-riveted with full tang. The laser-etched wave pattern is surface decoration only, not a chemical coating. Imarku discloses blade thickness (2.3mm) and total weight (8.3 oz) on the product page.
