## Why we chose it

18/10 stainless steel (18% chromium, 10% nickel) is a corrosion-resistant, non-reactive food-contact alloy. The brushed finish is intrinsic to the metal, not a coating over a lesser alloy, so nothing chips or degrades with daily use. Fortessa discloses the alloy grade on the product page.
