## Why we chose it

Wheel-thrown in Woodstock, Vermont from American stoneware clay. The glaze is tested lead- and cadmium-free to Prop 65 and FDA standards, the full disclosure rare from a handmade studio. The bare stoneware foot is raw clay, not a coating: what touches the drink is ceramic, fired to 2,300 degrees.
