## Why we chose it

The double-wall stainless construction keeps the outside near room temperature during and after a boil, which is the same safety property the Secura held. Every water-contact surface is 18/8 stainless steel: interior body, inner lid underside, and spout. Cuisinart discloses the construction fully on the product page.
