## Why we chose it

The KeyFit Max ClearTex is GREENGUARD Gold certified — tests chemical emissions from foam and fabric including phthalate off-gassing — and uses ClearTex fabric, Chicco's PFAS-free textile line. Unlike the standard KeyFit Max, the ClearTex version eliminates fluorinated surface treatments. No chemical flame retardants; meets FR standards without them.
